Teach you a good way to reduce the track wear of excavator

by:Laike     2020-07-22
The walking part of the excavator is composed of supporting sprocket, roller, drive wheel and rail link, etc. When running for a certain period of time, these parts will wear to a certain degree. However, if you pay attention to daily maintenance, you can avoid future 'major surgery on the legs of the excavator'. Save you considerable maintenance funds, and can also avoid delays caused by maintenance.

Methods of reducing wear on walking parts of excavator:

First point: If you repeatedly walk on an inclined ground for a long time and suddenly turn, the side of the rail link will contact the side of the drive wheel and the guide wheel, thereby increasing the degree of wear. Therefore, you should avoid walking and leaning on slopes as much as possible. Straight travel and large turns can effectively prevent wear.

Second point: If it continues to be used in a state where some supporting sprockets and rollers cannot run, it may cause the rollers to wear off and at the same time may cause rail link wear. If you find a roller that does not work, you must repair it immediately! In this way, you can avoid causing other failures.

The third point: rollers, supporting chain wheel mounting bolts, track shoe bolts, driving wheel mounting bolts, walking piping bolts, etc., because the machine is easy to loosen due to vibration after long-term work. For example, if the machine continues to run when the track shoe bolts are loose, it may even cause a gap between the track shoe and the bolt, which in turn may cause cracks in the track shoe. Moreover, the occurrence of clearance may also increase the bolt holes between the track and the rail link, resulting in serious consequences that the track and rail link must be replaced because they cannot be fastened. Therefore, the bolts and nuts should be regularly inspected and tightened to reduce unnecessary maintenance costs.
